How to change road sign style to Europe?
#1
I have S60 2019 imported from US to EU.

I have changed:
149 to "0A" east europe.
160 instrument cluster to europe/china
161 unit settings to "01" (km etc.)
I have also changed map region and updated all maps to Europe.

But in dashboard and headup display I cannot change road sign style to show EU style road signs with km. Notice the red line in speedometer to show the speed limit in km. Also, if I switch off showing of road sign information, it comes back on after car restart.

Should I flash something for that?

So, what I discovered is that after all the above settings are changed and the full European map (57GB) is installed, the changes to road sign information in the dashboard are not immediately visible.

1) There is some kind of process in the background which loads necessary map data for various car functions, which takes time, even if the map is being shown in the central console.

2) The car must be driven around the area so that the location of the car changes and new data and road sign information are loaded into the dashboard.

The next day driving around a city I noticed that European-style road signs were now being shown on the dashboard.

Therefore this case is closed.
