Today I received a mirror with homelink from the USA...
I have a 433.92 MHz garage door opener with rolling code and TX2 remote, and I have tried all 9 possible settings. It definitely cannot be added to the homelink mirror...
I will buy receiver from aliexpress and will try with it, because I have wasted money if I don't solve it

Bear in mind that the standard antenna of the receiver has a low receiving range, couple of meters. Now I'm upgrading it to an external 5db 433mhz antenna which should improve the range by more than 30-40 meters

What antenna did you use and when it's located to be changed?

You have to solder a
female SMA connector where the antenna is - solder skills required since this piece is small.
Maybe I can share results after couple of weeks
LE: just checked link from aliexpress and the device does not have at all the antenna so you should find a way to attach it - no solder required.
If range is not a priority, you can attach a basil coil spring type 433mhz antenna
I did bought a similar receiver but with coil antenna soldered on the pcb
