Disabling Start stop disables the mild hybrid motor help?

Hello, i’m new here   I would like to ask if disabling the start stop funcion disables also the electric motor and the 13hp or so of help in the 2024 xc90 b5 diesel mild hybrid?
I recently restored to oem after having it disabled ( waiting for the ota update..) and the car seems snappier and quicker to accelerate in various speeds…or it’s just my false feeling?

the mild-hybrid is kept enabled.
Must be a feeling or i am wrong ?
