Polestar Optimisation

Hi everyone, I have a 2019 XC60 T6. I am thinking of adding on the Polestar Optimization at the dealer. I was wondering why the expected gains from the upgrade is only accessible when in Polestar mode, and not in comfort mode.

Engine map is applied across all drive modes. Polestar Engineering mode has enhanced throttle mapping, AWD distro and gearbox shift points.
