There’s only a few air lines present so there is none. I also called my dealer who checked with the parts cars VIN and it showed that they are ventilated (duh) but not massaging.Quote:-On the seat connector, are the PINs numbered on the plastic connector or do I need to find a pin chart of the connector to know which PIN is number 15? and had time to install the drivers side. I swapped the seat controller from my existing seat and when I took a look at the pins, my existing controller had more pins than the new one. So my existing controller had all the pins that the new controller had and a couple more. That was on the connector that had the most pins. After the install I went to code. For the seat ventilation I first tried the setting ”ventilation drivers seat” as I haven’t yet swapped the front passenger side. That didn’t work. The ventilation setting didn’t pop up. Then I changed it to ventilation driver and passenger, now the setting is visible and works. Memory also works. But 1 setting doesn’t work, and that’s the 4 way lumbar. As the back of the seat didn’t have many hoses going in and out, I assume that the seat doesn’t even have the massaging parts installed. That begs the question, do I STILL need to run a power wire to the seat to get the lumbar to work even though the seat most likely doesn’t have side support which shouldn’t even make any difference to the lumbar! Settings I now have: -Ventilation for driver and passenger -4-way lumbar adjustment (had this already) -Side support driver and passenger (first I tried ”side support backrest” or something like that which didn’t work) When I switch to the lumbar setting with the seat selector and try to adjust it, the relay only clicks and nothing happens ? on the passenger side with the original seat it works fine. What should I do? I really hope it’s just a configuration issue or something. RE: Can s90 seats be fitted to S60 - IMAY2023 - 02-14-2025 This looks like the back of the seat and according to the pipes there you should have side support and massage. For the side support You should put the settings 243 POWER ADJUSTABLE SIDE SUPPORT to 81 (both cushion, backrest driver and passenger). Even though the seat may not have on the cushion, that's the only way make it work. At least on my seats. For this, you will need to wire pin 15. Take a look at the seat's harness connector and check if you have the wire. For the 240 LUMBAR SUPPORT > 4 way lumbar support. This is a picture I found online of a seat with massage that has much more air lines. Since the massage feature has 10 massaging spots, shouldn’t there be a lot more hoses going inside the backrest like in this picture? I have the settings you mentioned turned on but it doesn’t seem to be working. I’ll check the seats connector. Right now I only care about the lumbar support since it’s currently at the most out position which is really uncomfortable for my back. But the lumbar support shouldn’t be connected to the side support feature and should work by itself right? RE: Can s90 seats be fitted to S60 - IMAY2023 - 02-14-2025 As far as I know; if the seat has side support, the lumbar support is controlled by the seat contort module thus requires the pin15 power. My s90 seats are like that. I compared my old seats to the new and you’re correct. The wiring is entirely different. I looked at the DTC’s and it shows codes for open circuit for the valve block and pump (makes sense) I compared the female seat connectors and the only difference is that the new seat has pin 15 and the old one doesn’t (also makes sense). I feeled around the back of the seat and my conclusion is that the seat has side support+4way lumbar but no massage. But here’s where it gets confusing: I bought the fuse robber things, put 2 5A fuses in it and plugged it into Fuse terminal 40. As I only have 1 seat swapped I crimped just 1 wire to the robber and routed it to the drivers seat. Since I don’t yet have the correct pins for the male side seat connector, I de-pinned pin 15 from the seat end connector and just wrapped the cable around it to test if the function would now work. Nothing happened. Pin 15 is a blue wire which goes to the back of the seat where it goes to the pump. I also tried to wrap the cable from the fuse box straight to the pin at the back of the seat but that did not have any effect either. I unfortunately don’t have a multimeter to check if there’s power coming from the fuse box end or not but I will buy one tomorrow. Is there something I’m missing here? RE: Can s90 seats be fitted to S60 - IMAY2023 - 02-14-2025 Have you started the engine? The side support and massage is only operational when the engine is running. The side support and massage is only operational when the engine is running. I did not. I just switched the ignition on and then tried the settings. I thought that it should work with only the ignition on since the lumbar works on the old passenger seat and the thigh support also worked on both seats. I will try it with the car started tomorrow! RE: Can s90 seats be fitted to S60 - IMAY2023 - 02-14-2025 Well on my replacement s90 seats, lumbar support does not work if the engine is not running. It might be also software difference between the modules. Assuming that you have check if you are indeed getting power on the PIN 15. If still does not work, try with the other module. RE: Can s90 seats be fitted to S60 - paunionutz - 02-17-2025 Can anyone know if the frame seat from s90 is the same with S60/v60.
