Is enabling Pilot Assist working on 3.7?

Quote:"Level 1" vs "Level 2" - I don't know what the technical difference is. All I know is Japan market cars get "Level 2" and all other markets get "Level 1". If you figure out the difference, let us all know!

@Power6
Might this Japanese modifications to the ACC on LVL2 might be related to smaller roads, different optimizations for crowded slow traffic in JPN (super crowded -> so earlier connecting to the next car leaving less space maybe??) and less sensitivity to optimize for smaller and curvier japanese roads? At least those suggestions puts co-pilot on the table to me.

So we might expect less smooth ACC experience with LVL2 maybe, but more dynamic/sport, closing gaps more quicker for example?

Does this fit anyones experiences?

Henk

This stuff will likely be down to local regulatory variations.

Try it and see - only Volvo knows the facts here.

I assumed this was for left and right hand drive variations. Meaning which side of the lane the car stayed closer to the center line.

Can someone tell me what part number to buy for the ABS pump? After ACC activation makes strange noises and shakes when braking. Do I need to program anything after replacing the pump?

Hi I am looking to buy Orbit. I have a 2021 XC60 T5 Momentum. Has 4 sensors on the front bumper, 4 sensors on the back bumper, Intellisafe system but no 360 camera and I don't see a front camera in the grill. The question I have is, can I use Orbit to enable Pilot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control. I read that I need a front grill camera? Thanks in advance.

Interesting, I really want ACC but the whole ABS pump thing (I have the non hybrid one) is putting me off. Interesting that you are finding some odd noises.

I'm not sure the official Volvo upgrade is available anymore either. I'm not sure what to do!

I believe the hybrid ABS pump part number is P32214774 but wait for someone who knows what they are talking about to confirm as I'm a newbie  Shy

Yes, you can. The front grill camera has nothing to do with Pilot Assist and ACC.  It uses the radar and lane keep assist camera (behind the windshield. top center)

As far as I know, It is still available for models up to 2020 according to https://accessories.volvocars.com/ However, it might be still available for later modules too.  Go to a VOLVO service, give them your VIN number and they can check for your VIN number under functionality changes and upgrades.

There are many folks here who enabled the ACC, Pilot Assists and Speed limiter without replacing the pump.
