I don’t have the alert if I get closer to a car but my car stops. What alert are you refering to? The distance alert? RE: Enabling Pilot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control - krounchou - 02-04-2023 Yes I meant the distance alert RE: Enabling Pilot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control - marinalin85 - 02-04-2023 (02-04-2023, 07:23 AM)krounchou Wrote: Yes I meant the distance alert You need HUD for Distance Alert. Won't show in Drivers Display https://www.volvocars.com/en-ca/support/manuals/xc90/2020w17/driver-support/distance-alert/distance-alert RE: Enabling Pilot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control - krounchou - 02-04-2023 Even just for sound alerts ? RE: Enabling Pilot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control - marinalin85 - 02-04-2023 There is no sound alert for Distance Alert. Only visual, only for the car going the same direction at yours but not on slow moving traffic and it doesn't work with ACC You do have emergency braking in case so you're good RE: Enabling Pilot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control - krounchou - 02-04-2023 Just tried it on the motorway and it works fine. I don’t have overtaking assistance though but the ACC with steering assist and good braking function works fine with the parameters I gave. I may try one level more see if I have overtaking assistance later. RE: Enabling Pilot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control - marinalin85 - 02-04-2023 On mine, when signaling left, it does accelerate. Got scared the first time, I didn't it was a feature ? Having a box of matches for a car previously, a lot of things are intresting on this one RE: Enabling Pilot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control - krounchou - 02-04-2023 (02-04-2023, 02:10 PM)marinalin85 Wrote: On mine, when signaling left, it does accelerate. Got scared the first time, I didn't it was a feature ? If I recall well you are on level 3 with stop and go. Right ? I am still on level 1 with stop and go (choice 04) It’s a feature called overtaking assistance indeed. RE: Enabling Pilot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control - marinalin85 - 02-04-2023 Yes. Level 3 Try it It really sucks there are no information online as to what does what RE: Enabling Pilot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control - krounchou - 02-04-2023 (02-04-2023, 02:29 PM)marinalin85 Wrote: Yes. Level 3 It’s test and try ![]() But yes, on the car manufacturer page they don’t disclose what levels include what and for what car it applies. |
