I only care about this LCD panel to control heated seats. I don't want to control the air conditioning. Is there a way to do that? The regular analog panel is disgusting :-)

I am in the similar situation, 
Although the both switches operates on LIN bus and has the same connector, it's not plug and play
IHU sends turn on signal to the switch but that signal is different for each type (regular / digital) of switch depending on the climate zone 2 or 4.  You can connect it but it wouldn't turn on.  You'd need something like Joe558 is working on. (see on page 2 of this thread).
