From what I have seen. There are issues with Android Auto and Videos on later versions of Android. 13 works 14 seems not to, that is using a wired connection.

Use a wifi connection (buy a AAWireles dongle of Amazon).

Then install AAAD. Then install the apps from there to appear in Android Auto. Fermata Auto works, Also Carstream for YouTube.
