RE: Engine Remote Start - x119 - 02-19-2026

it's back to usual - so it's something to do with Police or VIP diplomatic. Odd.

To bad i was hoping to use that setting to turn off the seat belt warning if not belted.
What car? I have a S60 2023

RE: Engine Remote Start - x119 - 02-20-2026

XC90 2015 (MY16)

RE: Engine Remote Start - 4vygis - 02-21-2026

Does your xc90 have a time suspencion?

RE: Engine Remote Start - x119 - 02-21-2026

Though I'd love for my car to be able to suspend time, I suspect you mean air suspension? To which the answer is no.

Has anyone successfully done this on a 2019 xc90 T6 without losing any functionality?

not, no one was able to activate without using VIP or Police mode and these changes some functions, mainly auto start/stop and seatbelt chime.

So can we safely set this to police or vip to disable these teo things you mentioned without any problem? I have S60 MY2023

RE: Engine Remote Start - x119 - 03-03-2026

It also messes with 360 camera alignment VIP/Police. Haven't played with further, saving for a rainy day.

But yes, it's safe. You can always revert to OEM.

yes, read here the latest posts, you must set and write, then set the rest and write.. in a two step procedure.

In theory you will lose only that, but some reports mention other things like auto down rearview mirror and kick-open tailgate so YMMV, on mine both still worked as normal
