Orbit Config Tracker - Nicolicius - 07-20-2025 Just built a small but super useful tool for Orbit: The Orbit Config Tracker. It helps you keep track of your configuration history – and compare changes instantly. With the Config Tracker you can: View the full history of your Orbit .orb-files Compare the last two config files side by side Get all differences in a clean Excel export Spot changes instantly – no more guessing What you need to do: Save your config every time you connect with Orbit Store it in a specific folder Use the filename format: "dd.mm.yyyy_hh.mm.orb" Two modes: Direct Comparison Mode Compares the two most recent .orb-files Opens a new window with all differences Creates an Excel file with the changes History Mode Scans all .orb-files files in the folder Ignores already indexed configs Adds only new ones to the log Opens a summary window + generates an Excel (auto-overwrites) I originally built this tool for myself, but I'm happy to share it with anyone who finds it useful.
