Windshield replacement--effects on pilot assist and adaptive cruise? - kraeburn - 03-11-2025

Have had both of these coded in for quite some time now.  Getting my windshield replaced by Safelite this morning and it includes a recalibration.

Should I be concerned?  I would assume that their recalibration doesn't care if I have the car coded or not.  I would also assume that the lane keep/collision stuff uses the same sensors anyways and I should be good to go afterwards.

Anyone else dealt with this?

They are using OEM equivalent glass--I inquired about OEM but the windshield is very compromised and this would have delayed things and possibly cost money out of pocket.  It seems like this is less of an issue now vs when these cars were newer.

If they are not using VIDA for calibration,  you do not need to worry about the custom config via Orbit.
If they are doing it with VIDA, revert to OEM before connecting the car to VIDA.
