Blind spot sensor replacement - zdolnycool - 12-17-2024 I need to install a new blind spot sensor on the left side. I read somewhere that it will need to be paired or reset somehow to work with a given car. Is this possible in Orbit? RE: Blind spot sensor replacement - IMAY2023 - 12-17-2024 the new BLISS (modules) are need to be flashed (orbit) or software reload (VIDA) language. As far as I know, Orbit can flash those but you will need to drop an email to support to see if they have the correct software for your year / model. If not, you will need VIDA. RE: Blind spot sensor replacement - zdolnycool - 12-18-2024 and if the module is used, i.e. it already has some flash, is it the same? RE: Blind spot sensor replacement - IMAY2023 - 12-18-2024 If the used model comes from same exact model / year, correct side and same part number, you may have a chance for plug and play. Both BLISS must have same version of software. Now, very important when buying used one. As I mentioned, VIDA should be able to reload the used BLISS for your car but make sure the replacement used part number is listed for your VIN or make sure the part number is same as the original. Otherwise, VIDA would not reload. RE: Blind spot sensor replacement - zdolnycool - 12-19-2024 thank you for all the information |
