Complete newbie here - some help before using orbit - Maxine87 - 10-31-2024 Hi! New here. Just ordered me a cable and waiting for the pin. Just wanted to ask, what do I need to do before I can start to configurate my car? I mean, do I just plug in the cable, turn my car on and just log in etc? Does the car need to be running or just power on? Do I need to put it in some "active mode", or select something from the census menu? My car is 2019 V90 T8 RE: Complete newbie here - some help before using orbit - IMAY2023 - 10-31-2024 just turn the ignition to position 2 without pressing the brake paddle. Turn to nob to ignition and hold it 2 sec. until you see the lights turns on. TIP, turn the headlights to off position, so that it won't drain the battery. RE: Complete newbie here - some help before using orbit - Maxine87 - 10-31-2024 I have keyless go, only a knob at the middle. So no selectable positions. So do I just turn the ignition on? There is a post in the FAQ thread, that if you have a pre 2020 T8 you should put it on active mode or it may "brick" it to the point you need to take it to volvo dealership. So this is why I am asking this. It is kind of confusing, when the post says that this has been fixed in the latest update, but still when you scroll down there is a mention about these pre 2020 T8's.
