Firmware change detection - andybessm - 08-01-2024 hi Orbit team! i'm getting my new Volvo V60 soon and since i live in Germany, the speed limitation of 180 km/h i treat like a nonsense. i'm gonna get rid of the limitation but there's a risk of loosing (or limiting) of warranty, so my question is: is there any chance the guys at Volvo dealership garage could notice that the car's firmware was changed (while it was changed back to factory settings before a routine inspection)? Thanks in advance! Best regards, Andy RE: Firmware change detection - x119 - 08-01-2024 Chance, yes. Likelihood, no. Just use the OEM Restore feature before going to a dealer and you should (have to say this.. ) be fine.
