OrBit Beta v0.9.91 release notes - Power6 - 07-05-2024
0.9.91 is released. We are back with another patch release to deal with the buggy 3.x version AAOS... The main theme here is to get the cars through to update to 3.1.9, which should put the "bad" 3.0.2-3.1.4 version problems behind us. As I know many people will want to Restore to OEM before updating the system via OTA or at the dealer.
(Latest version of OrBit can always be downloaded here: https://app.spaycetech.com/orbitupdate/download) The "update notification" in OrBit will be sent later, but you can download the updated install right away from the link.
New features/fixes:
- Added soft ECU reset for all pre-3.1.9 AAOS 3.x upgraded cars - This is added to safety to avoid problems with 3.x cars through the programming process, but resetting the ECUs in the car to have a clean start up. OrBit will check the version and only perform the soft reset for the troublsome AAOS versions.
- Enabling "skip programming checks" will not bypass the process ("skip programming checks" in this release will enforce the soft reset on any car)
