Orbit diagnostics vs Ancell VOD700 - Dennis3258 - 07-21-2026 Hi, I am a bit confused tone honest. I own a XC40 D4 Rdesign from 2019 and has some issues with the Add Blue injector. I bought with the car the Ancell VOD700 for diagnostics, and that does what its made for. Having Orbit and bought a laptop specifically for Orbit, It shows less diagnostics results. I have installed new Windows 11 with all updates, installed it twice, and same with Orbit, just to be sure I dudntmis anything, the result is the same. Am I making a mistake somewhere? Anyone? Can you expand on what you see to be the issue? Hi, and thank you for the replay. When I use the option with Orbit, I have tested a couple times. That is carryout a scan, do the same with the other option and wipe it, the same two days later. The Orbit application is generation v 1.3.4. I have experienced that Orbit showed 2 codes, ECM, P200200 and PSCM code U112B87 but most often the result is nothing. The result with the Ancell VOD700 are persistent shows there is a code in Diesel Eng the fuel system with code P200200 also P24C768 Code in CEM, U110400 Code in CCM, B1A6996 Code in VCM, U105301 The car is going for maintenance tomorrow the 23/07 and will have an overall check and what I will point out. But the experience for me is somewhat weird. Because why is there a difference in result. RE: Orbit diagnostics vs Ancell VOD700 - Terence - 07-22-2026 Are you able to erase those "extra codes"? I have iCarshoft 2.0 and for some reason it sometimes shows engine DTC's which are not really exist and sometimes it doesn't. I cannot erase them and I cannot find them with orbit or vdash. Those "extra codes" are something that I have never seen with orbit or vdash. I don't know the reason but I believe that the bug is in Icarsoft, not in orbit. As well with my laptop with Orbit and with the Ancell VOD700. Even if I have codes scanned with the Ancell VOD700 and they don't show with Orbit, Orbit will still erase them if I would choose to clear them. |
