Flash Roof module? - Pliind - 11-03-2025 Hi! So i changed my headliner from white to black years ago... through my old roof module away like a frisbee and never looked back. When doing my service last year and trying to get a total upgrade done it choked on my new module, i bought a 31479612 but it came from an XC90. It's fully functional but VIDA will not let it pass. Can this be flashed to a v60 version? i really want to pass my total upgrade this time around in february as Sweden is closing down all 3G networks and Volvo is issueing a patch for all cars. So what i have and want spec wise is v60 - high illumination - no hatch RE: Flash Roof module? - IMAY2023 - 11-03-2025 VIDA will not allow to perform total upgrade unless all replaced modules are reprogrammed "software reload" to the car! The *ECU reload(s) that are shown in the HW changes TAB of the VIDA. You have two options. 1) Install the original module and purchase and reload "configuration change" for 0.01 USD. This software reread all the installed modules on the car and compare and update (remove the recorded ECU change) the VOLVO db. Then perform total upgrade after that you can replace the original with the one came from XC90. 2) Order and install the replaced "ECU" reload that appears in the HW change TAB. However, it may or may not install it. It depends on Part# or one of its Supersessions is listed for your VIN. Keep in mind the software reloads are not cheap. starting from 50 USD. The part number 31479612 is the whole panel and not the controller. What you should do is that. Disassemble everything from both the original and new panels and install the the original controller to the new panel. Then, perform the first step above. RE: Flash Roof module? - Pliind - 11-03-2025 Problem is that original module is gone, and if id have it id be missing the rgb diod (high-illu) that i want to keep. |
