OrBit Beta v0.4.4 release notes - Power6 - 05-12-2023
v0.4.4 has been released. This is a small update with a timely fix for recent Volvo software updates causing problems for OrBit
Updates
- OrBit now reports version in the console when starting
- "Pre-2020" PHEV contactor control (open contactors before flashing, if they are in the closed state, instead of fail flash due to contactor state) is added.
Fixes:
- Recent software update to some 2022-23 models caused OrBit to fail setting mode to active, or opening contactors on PHEV models, when writing config. Reason is due to VGM firewall updated to block the commands when not disabled. OrBit now disables VGM firewall before setting mode and checking contactors.
