The retrofitted rear ceiling light can be detected? - Muss - 10-01-2025

Hi.

I hope you can help me with an answer. I make a retrofit to the rear ceiling lamp (I haven't it and I cut out the ceiling and put the ceiling lamp) on which I connected to a wire of CEM from the front ceiling lamp.

The question is,  If I go to the Volvo dealership or put Vida on it it would be ok? Does he find that rear ceiling? Lock the car computer?

Thank you!

If it is just a simple bulb, connected in parallel with the front bulb (+/-), without integration with the CAN/Flex network and without changes to the original programming, there will be no problem. VIDA will not detect any modification.

I have a wire what is going to front ceiling and is tied to wire from CEM to know when the front ceiling is on then the rear ceiling to be on. No programing soft. So, I'm safe or not to put VIDA?
