[XC90II 2015 T6] - VCM no battery in module - krzysztof.pyzel@o2.pl - 09-27-2025
Hi,
I got the message "Voice on Call service required."
I purchased the correct battery and started replacing it. My model is a 2015, and the VCM module is located under the fuse box in the trunk.
VCM part number: 31456964
After removing the module and disassembling it, I unfortunately couldn't find the battery.
Do you know if the 2015/2016 models with the VCM module under the fuse box have battery for the VCM, or if they even have them?
I should add that all the services are working properly, including the Wi-Fi modem and GPS.

In 2015-2016 battery in GSM module under right rear plastic. Like 2019 vcm location.

Is battery located in GSM module, where ? I disassmbled VCM module located in trunk on the right side under fuse box, and didn't found battery there. Interned said that 2015/2016 don't have battery in VCM module. In 2016/2017 Volvo changed VCMmodule location to the right side under plastic cover in the trunk and this module have installed battery inside, but in my not.
