You won't lose radio presets, illumination settings, etc.

Hey, old friend from the Polestar forums back in the day - I'm glad to hear you got them working! I'm going to do the same shortly - just ordered the cable and will pay for the license for the software here shortly. I will be glad to have the full Pixel Matrix experience in all its glory soon. :-)
