I know this is not directly related to Orbit, but since someone here might have knowledge about this, I decided to ask anyway.

Does anyone know about disabling the EGR? Is it possible to do it with software? What about simply blocking it off at both ends?

As I understand it, the EGR system has two sensors, one before and one after the EGR valve, which only monitor how much exhaust gas flows through the EGR valve. If the EGR were blocked before this point (where it branches off from the exhaust) and also blocked at the other end near the intake manifold, would this be sufficient? In that case, would it be unnecessary to disable the EGR via software as well?

I’m aware of the difficulties caused by this newer engine control module (ECM). As far as I know, there currently isn’t anyone in the world who can create engine tuning/optimization software for these cars. Isn’t that correct?]]>

I've a list of DTCs and wondering if they are anything that needs to be fixed.

This gave me a full report showing what’s preventing the contactors from closing.
The problem is… I don’t have a working car to compare the report with mine. ?
So I’d really appreciate it if someone from the community could run this same report on a working car and send it to me by email:

I purchased the correct battery and started replacing it. My model is a 2015, and the VCM module is located under the fuse box in the trunk.
VCM part number: 31456964
After removing the module and disassembling it, I unfortunately couldn't find the battery.
Do you know if the 2015/2016 models with the VCM module under the fuse box have battery for the VCM, or if they even have them?
I should add that all the services are working properly, including the Wi-Fi modem and GPS.]]>
