Hi,
I really need help and some advice from someone with better experience in car electrical problems.
In my V90 cc from 2017 i have problem with driver seat heating that is not working. Passenger side seat works perfectly.
Heating pads are 100% good.

However, after doing some research myself, I found that the pin that supplies the 15V power to the heating mat on the driver's seat connector is giving 0V (on the passenger side, this pin is a constant 15V). Tests showed that this wire goes directly from the fuse box. And here's the interesting thing: the heater fuse is working, normally 15V flowing through it, but the pin coming out of the CJB box shows 0V, which means that the seat wire itself isn't the problem either. ? And a twist – I replaced the entire CJB module to check it, but the problem persists.
Reading the error code via OBD gives this result: CCM-B103087 Left front seat heater. Bus signal/message error. No message.

One service center told me the problem was the wiring from the seat to the CCM module and that it needed to be checked. So I bought another used CCM module and replaced it, but to no avail—the same error persists. I'm still wondering how to approach this issue.

Does anyone have any ideas on what else to check? Perhaps my understanding of the CJB box is flawed, so I'd appreciate any guidance.

I’m looking for the most recent Definitions.xml file for my 2023 Volvo XC90 T8 (AAOS).
I am currently running OrBit 1.2.3, but I am unable to locate several parameters that should be available for this model, specifically:
ID 236 (Charge Current Selection) - It does not appear in my list at all.
ID 057 (Charging Status Display)
My goal is to enable the charging current menu on the Android Automotive screen to manage my charging amperage. My OrBit version does not seem to trigger the automatic definition update, and I suspect my local XML file is outdated for the 2023 Extended Range firmware.
Car Details:
OrBit Version: 1.2.3
Could anyone share the latest XML or point me to the correct definition set for these newer AAOS modules?

Hoping someone can offer advice - XC60 T5 r design pro 2017/18 model
Issue: electric parking brake has stuck on after parking.
One day prior, the auto hold and epb service required warnings flashed on the dash, orange, while driving home, but the epb and auto hold still worked.
Next morning they didn't come on until about 10 mins into the drive. Again epb and auto hold still worked.
When leaving work the red epb not fully retracted warning came on and flashed with the accompanying ping. The brakes were not locked on at this point so I continued until I could stop and check which side, if either was dragging. Neither disc seemed unusually warm, suggesting the brake has retracted sufficiently. However when I started the car and tried to pull away, the brakes had locked on and would not retract despite pumping the brake pedal, manually attempting to activate the handbrake, watching the car on and off several times etc.
Both calipers seem to be locked on ( I think), not just one. So I doubt it is the actuator, or could a single faulty epb actuator cause the issue?
Guessing it's most likely a problem with the epb module (is there is a specific module for this? If so can anyone id it), a software problem (does anyone know if any software issues I might resolve with orbit?) or a wiring issue (what codes would you expect got this?), unless the loom for each side is separate independent (in which case prob not, if both are locked)?
Assuming I can manually remove the epb actuators and wind the calipers back, what tools are required to remove the actuator and manually wind the piston back? Then at least I can drive it home or to a garage.
Can't think of anything obvious, other than I hit a fairly deep bit of flooded road faster than I would have liked a day prior to the initial warning. The brakes pads are also probably at the point of needing replacement, so had wondered if this could cause the pistons to overextend creating a fault?
Could it be a low voltage issue, I assumed that with the car running, the alternator would supply enough voltage so this wouldn't cause a problem?
Thanks in advance for any advice that would aid in my understanding of how to troubleshoot/resolve the issue. I'm pretty stuck without the car as live very rurally.

Hi!

Car: Volvo V90, 2017, D3

Seen a couple of threads about issues with navigation after enabling it, with the #223 configuration NAVIGATION AND INTERNET MAP: WITH CONNECTED NAVIGATION, WITH INTERNET MAP, it became available but tells me I am missing the maps, which need to be provided through USB. None of the other threads helped me.

However, no matter what I do, it only says ‘No Media’ on the USB-stick.
I downloaded Scandinavian maps for Sensus.

I’ve tried using exfat, fat32, ntfs on the USB-sticks but nothing works.
I’ve made sure to use the Sensus SPA maps download tool from Volvo.

When I use the tool I save the download directly to the USB choice.
On the USB-device itself there is a DB-file and a .zip file.
I’ve tried having it exactly like the tool has it with zip-file, I’ve unpacked the zip-file and placed all files
directly on the usb-stick but it still doesn’t work.
I’ve tested sticks with USB 2.0 and 3.1.
I’ve tried using usb sticks with MBR and GPT.
I’ve tested both USB-slots in my car, both the one with white circle and without.

But no matter what I do, it says no media when I connect it.

Can somebody which this works normally for, please check what USB-type you have, whether in your stick, it has unpacked files? Or is it expected to have a .zip file? If not, can someone please list the exact contents of the USB-stick? This is making me nuts

Hello everyone,

I’ve finally got my Orbit set up and connected to my 2020 Volvo S60. I’ve received the PIN and I’m preparing to make my first configuration change.

I’m planning to install Navigation (option #223) and enable Adaptive Cruise Control. I do have a battery maintainer rated at 8A/15A, but I’d prefer not to use it if possible - I didn't try it before.

If anyone has tips or recommendations for a smooth install, I’d really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance.
