OrBit v1.3.7 release notes

OrBit 1.3.7 is released! This update introduces a few new features as well as a whole lot of refinements under the covers, updates to the user interface, and good old bug fixes. We are failing at more frequent releases still, but a couple months is not so bad, right?

NOTE: With the release of this OrBit version, only this new release and the previous release v1.3.4.5 will be supported! Older versions of OrBit will fail login process due to the changes made, we had to leave them behind. OrBit notifies you when an updated version is available, don't skip it! If you do, we don't have any sympathy for you ;-)

New features:

Prog Test - New Prog Test routine to test the programing process without making any changes to the car. Useful for troubleshooting and resolving issues with "stuck" modules.

Add ERAD and EFAD calibration routines - Support calibrating replaced ERAD, EFAD or Inverter modules.

Air Suspension Fill/Deflate - Added dialog to manually fill and deflate air suspension system for service.

New Config Advisor - Config Advisor can be opened from Dashboard or the Config tabs, it reads the car config and suggests popular config changes that are compatible with the connected car. The logic will be updated with more of the "lesser known" tweaks in the future.

New Service Procedures - **New procedures are published outside of OrBit software updates, however I call them out here as some require new version of OrBit to support them and they are not otherwise announced:

Infotainment - Sensus Map delete (fix bug in procedure)
Safety - SRS Calibrate Inertial Sensors (fix bug for 2024-up)

Updated Features:

Updated filters to simplify Configurator - "Show Everything" is removed. The default filter is automatically set to "OrBitEZItems" to show the previous default set of typically used config items, which has been expanded to include many more common config items OrBit users are looking for. The complete list of config items that previously required checking the "Show Everything" box to be seen, can now be viewed by simply clearing the search filter box, or choosing "Clear Filter" from the "Quick Filter" dropdown list.

Add label to graphing function of DIDs - Add the DID name so it is easier to identify the data logged when monitoring many parameters.

Expanded car status - Usage mode and Telematics status added to the Car Status display when connected in OrBit. Air suspension status renamed to Chassis, will be expanded with chassis status beyond active chassis cars in the future.

Usage mode control - Usage mode control manually through the Usage Mode status (Inactive, Active, Driving etc.). Click on the status button to open dialog to set the usage mode as well as optionally return control from OrBit to the car when setting the mode.

Telematics status guides on problem state - Currently only VCM Backup Battery (BuB) lifetime expiration is detected. The user can click on the status button and go through a guided process to recommend the solution, determine if a PIN is needed and reset the BuB lifetime.

"Private" ECUs added to ECU Info - Info is collected and ECUs are handled for modules managed by the CEM: IMS, BBS, OHC, SWM, BMS, WPC, PAKM. Flashing software to the private ECUs is now possible. (Some ECUs previously partial info was already collected where the private ECU responds to diagnostics directly)

Additional information displayed in ECU Info - Added more information stored and displayed in ECU Info: VIN reported for each module that reports it, VIN from VCM certificate loaded, distance (odometer) for each module that reports it. For HCMs, the code string numbers programmed to the HCMs are shown to allow easily comparing to the codes printed on the headlight part sticker.

Expanded capabilities for software packages - Additional capability added to software packages to cover more cases of complete module software programming and adoption steps automated with the OrBit Software Package.

Updated key programming process info - Added correct graphic for new 2026 Volvos to show the correct key fob placement for the revised interior console.

Login to Orbit - Mostly invisible changes improve reliability, but also some tweaks made: you can cancel the login after entering incorrect code, and login codes sent to email are now valid for 5 minutes (previously 2 minutes)

Improvements and Fixes:

Update Profile - Steamlined profile update, finding new ECUs is no longer required to choose when updating the profile.

Security PIN Extract- Updated the process to handle CEM changes, fix cases where the extract would fail.

ECM Type detection- Recognize Bosch vs Denso ECM and load correct diagnostic data information

Config Wizard fix audio config display - Fix applied settings shows Harman/Kardon is applied for Bowers & Wilkins config, and vice versa.

Recovery from software flash failures - Fixed bugs and improved software flashing to recover critical modules after failed flash, when the critical module is offline.

Improvements to package software downloads - Further improvements to software package downloading, recognize offline state, skip files already cached, fix bug in downloading hosted files.

Disconnected car improvements - Disconnected car is recognized when present and not present state changes, as well as lost connection to the connected car when unplugged to set the connected state correctly in OrBit.

Fix bug in Usage mode control on late 2026 cars - OrBit can now properly control the usage mode on late 2026 and newer SPA/CMA platform cars.

Login process improvement - Updated for reliability and now can "cancel" login after code is rejected to go back to the initial login step without need to enter 3 rejected codes.

Various bug fixes and reliability improvments - The usual catch all, just like Volvo release notes!

New features:

Car information display - Model and other basic car information of the connected car is shown in the main tab now renamed Dashboard (formerly "Shortcuts").

Add Activate in-tank Fuel Pump - The electric fuel pump can be activated to support service, to transfer fuel inside the "saddle" type fuel tank.

New Service Procedures - **New procedures are published outside of OrBit software updates, however I call them out here as some require new version of OrBit to support them and they are not otherwise announced:

Infotainment - Active Noise Control Disable (for Android IHU)
Suspension - Position Sensor Calibration (Four-C / No Air Susp)
Engine - Reset EGR Adaptation, IEM Gen1&2 - Calibration
ADBLUE - Reset adaptations - (for all 4 equipment replacements)
Transaxle - Gear Position Sensor Calibration
ECM - Reset Adaptations - Fuel Injector X (all 4 injectors for diesl models that support)
AWD(DEM) - Oil Pressure Pump Venting
Security - Wake up Phone as Key Module (PAKM) from Transport Mode
Safety - SRS Calibrate Inertial Sensors (for Bosch SRS modules)

Updated Features:

Battery and oil level display correct for all models - Displays for HV battery State of Charge (SoC) and State of Health (SoH) were previously incorrect for some years/models as well as oil level not displayed for cars with Bosch ECM. This should now be correct for all support models.

Disconnected car handling and keep alive- OrBit now disconnects when the connected car is missing. OrBit also monitors the connection present to a car when disconnected to prevent the car from sleeping so it is available to connect without needing to wake it by re-plug the VOE adapter.

Software package download improvments- OrBit now provides error message feedback when unable to download software files needed for a package, if download fails, Internet is unreachable etc. Custom files are now supported for car specific installs, all files can be downloaded. Included is improved logging for better support help.

PIN Decoding progress- Add progress bar when running PIN decoding on Wireshark captures, so progress can be seen when parsing and cracking PINs on large Wireshark capture files.

CEM Flashing recovery- Easier recovery from failed CEM flash when the CEM is not responding, when attempting flash again OrBit recognizes the CEM is not responding and passes checks to proceed to flashing software to recover the CEM back to normal operation.

Improvements and Fixes:

FLC2 Safety Camera Calibration- Fixed multiple bugs preventing calibration of the front facing camera, corrected allowed distance measurement range etc.

Update diagnostics support for 2026.5/2027 models - Handle the update CEM security. Note we can still not support config on these secured new models.

Connection quality warning - Adjusted limits to warn less frequently about connection quality when the risk of a problem is low.

Mounted ECUs/faster profile updates- OrBit now keeps track of the ECUs (modules) that should be mounted in the car, to process profile updates faster and deal with missing modules better.

Service Procedures- Results handling is improved to reduce the instance of false positives, i.e. procedure successful but OrBit still displays an error return.

Various bug fixes and reliability improvments- The catch all, just like Volvo release notes!

OrBit 1.2.7 is released! This update introduces a few new features as well as some refinements and normal bug fixes. We are continuing more frequent releases in 2026, we skipped Feb but here we are back for March...

New features:

Parameters Monitor - Real time monitoring, graph and log export of any available data fields (DIDs) for any ECU in a new Parameters Monitor dialog (find on the ECU Tools tab)

New Connection Quality monitoring- OrBit now monitors the connection to the car for communication issues when idle and during software flashing. The purpose is to help make the user aware when they have connection issues in advance of performing critical operations that require a trouble free network connection, such as software flashing. Typical issues are: bad network cable, other software on the computer interfering, network driver issues etc.

HV Coolant fill/bleed process released from beta - The required process of bleeding the HV coolant system is added to support drain and fill service.

Add Activate in-tank Fuel Pump - The electric fuel pump can be activated to support service, to prime the fuel feed system to purge air

Quick Preset filters - Added a "Quick Preset" option to the Configurator table, to filter config items to related systems. Initially the filters include: Region Change, Lighting, Performance, and Brake

Updated Features:

Software reloads module- Improvements have been made to the software flashing process to increase reliability by recovering from network errors, report detected network errors during flashing, and accurately report failure reason when a flash fails. Retrying failed critical modules that are down after failed flash has been simplified

Air Suspension calibration- Improvements to make Air Susp calibration more reliable, set the conditions of calibration and more reliably cancel service mode during calibration prep

Improvements and Fixes:

Improved Software Flashing reconnection - Improved reliability of bypassing local network delays to find the car and reconnect in programming mode when flashing software and config

Fixed Gen2 security access issue - Unlock when the ECU returns the area is already unlocked no longer fails

Improved ECU Data (DID Reads) results - Fixed handling float values and correct scaling to produce the correct output results from raw data

OrBit v1.2.3.5 release notes

OrBit 1.2.3.5 is a high priority patch release Nothing exciting to see here, unless you have been affected by the specific bug. Patch version is not shown in OrBit UI so this version reports v1.2.3 same as the pevious version. OrBit will prompt for an update needed if you are running an older version.

Improvements and Fixes:

Fix bug in OrBit download car information - Fixed a bug in car information download in specific cases with shop users working on many cars.

Previous bug fix included for updated Azure SSL certificates- I am noting this previous bug fix causing license download issues that was fixed in patch release 1.2.3.4 that I did not publish release notes at the time, but this release includes the same fix and replaces the previous version anyways.

OrBit 1.2.3 is released! This update is minor UI improvments and introduce a couple new features as well as some normal bug fixes. We are committed to more frequent releases in 2026 to get new features out sooner.

New features:

UI Updates - Added icons to most buttons and displays to make navigating OrBit easier and quicker with familiar use and when English is not your primary language.

New Configurator compares to OEM config- You can now see all "previous" changes from original configuration of the car highlighted in the Configurator! This one has been a long time coming due to the effort required to do it. But now, we have done it. You can filter only the changes from OEM as well as compare the current config of the car to the OEM configuration settings using the "Show OEM" checkbox added. Note that this display, just as Restore OEM, does NOT require any stored backup of information about the car, the "OEM" config settings are always the correct original config displayed.

New DTC Detail notes added to DTC dialog - You can now click on any code read from the car in the DTC Report dialog to open expanded notes about the specific code, a very helpful addition for troubleshooting from DTCs.

New DTC History - DTC report now has a "Show Historical Data" checkbox to bring up the previous DTCs read from the car that have been subsequently cleared.

Updated Features:

Updates to Software reloads module- Expanded reload scenarios are now possible for replaced/new modules in more complex installs such as ECM replacement.

Improvements and Fixes:

Improved Config files download - This is not specifically a code update in OrBit but includes back end updates to implement a CDN to improve the speed of downloading updated config files around the world, on start up of OrBit. Recovery when config files are corrupt or missing has been improved.

OrBit v1.2.0 release notes

OrBit 1.2.0 is released! As we have done before, the list of improvements we wanted to make was ambitious, and that made for a long development cycle. But I think there is something for everyone in this OrBit update! It will not be possible to cover the smallest changes and bug fixes, but I will cover the major updates and the important details.

New features:

Refreshed UI - The OrBit interface looks familiar, but has been nearly completely overhauled. OrBit main window is now responsive design, you can finally resize OrBit and expand the Configurator table! Features and buttons have been re-arranged for easier use, Config Wizard redesigned easier to browse, DIDs and Service Procedures list redesigned to be easier to browse.

Updated car info display - Live Car Status info is displayed at bottom right: current Usage Mode, 12V battery volts and SoC (State of Charge). You can keep an eye on your 12V battery while working on the car in OrBit. Shortcuts tab display of ICE engine oil level, 12V battery and High or Medium battery state display are separated to show all applicable info for the connected car.

Car Network display - Car Network toplogy view can be opened from the main Shortcuts tab to show an overview diagram of the car network with modules shown. The modules shown are color coded grey/red/yellow/green by the state of the modules from the current profile update readout of the car. Modules can be clicked to bring up the display of current DTCs and DTC History.

New DTC view - DTC report is now color coded for the DTC status to match status colors (yellow, red, grey) in Volvo VIDA. The report can be filtered by module list displayed by status, you can easily see which modules have DTCs. The report can be exported to PDF.

New Service tab tools - FLC2 Safety Camera Calibration is added for AAOS cars. DPF Regeneration is added for diesel vehicles, MVBM/48V tools are added for trobuleshooting and resolving issues with MHEV (mild hybrid) vehicles. SCL Programming is added to adopt new SCL module to car equipped with SCL (Steering Column Lock). Service Procedures catalog display is revised to be easier to browse and run procedures.

ECU Tools tab improved display - Data IDs (DIDs) display is improved, easier to browse and click directly on items to read from the car. Related Service Procedures view is similarly revised to be easier to view and run procedures filtered to the current selected module.

NEW Module specific tools - HCM Tools added for headlight and module replacement, this new automated tool reads the HCMs in the car and guides the user through correcting the configured "side" of used modules installed, and write headlight codes config to the HCMs. All HCMs are now supported: LED, Pixel and Matrix lights. TRM Load will load software to new TRM (TRailer Module) to support tow bar/hitch installs. (ECM Loading/adoption is in beta currently, available as needed, if you need to replace an ECM with a new part, you can reach out to support we can help!)

NEW Software Flash/Module Reload - Software Flashing is completely new. Supports all Volvo software flashing scenarios for all module types, multiple softwares can be queued and flashed to the module in a single job. Software flashes can be loaded from a Package File provided by us. For those that need software to load a module, we can now offer software packages on request to reload and update modules with OrBit. Information to get a quote for software reloads is included in the dialog.

NEW Config Wizard redesigned - Easier to find settings by category, expanded with new settings added and tracking for changes shown as you browse and choose settings. New settings added to the Wizard: Auto Start/Stop, lock/alarm settings, CarPlay/Android Auto, Navigation etc. Config "rules" updated and revised to enable/disable applicable settings specific to the connected car.

New logo - New OrBit logo is used on app shortcut, task bar icon etc.

Progress Bar - Most common functions use the new progress bar display in OrBit to show progress state through a procedure running on the car.

Configurator - Unchanged but the table now resizes with the OrBit window.

Updated Features:

Key Programming updated - OrBit now backs up the key fob information before pairing or erasing key fobs. Previous change can be rolled back if problems are encountered in the key programming process. Care Key Disable can now be run to set all paired keys as normal key fobs (no restrictions). This is the same process used by Volvo dealer to disable Care Key for customers, it is a one time process that does not require config change. A graphic is now included in the dialog to show the proper key placement spot for key fob programming, specific to the connected car model.

PIN Save updated - Supports saving the new generation security access 64 character PINs for modules. Current saved PIN from the car profile can now be viewed, the saved PIN is displayed in the dialog for the module and level.

Full support up through 2026 models - OrBit handles all aspects of updates/changes made to modules and security in the cars for the latest model years SPA/CMA platform cars.

Improvements and Fixes:

Software flashing - Capability and reliabiltiy of flashing software to modules is improved with a nearly complete overhaul of software flashing. PBL and SBL type flashing, digitally signed software signature checking, new generation security PINs are all supported with software flashing. Progress display is improved with the potential long wait time for flashing large softwares and signature checks. Many improvements have been made to deal with troublesome cars and modules where it is possible for a diagnostic tool to overcome the issues.

Many bug fixes for less common issues - Updates made to deal with profile corruption, modules not responding, partially functional cars smoothly without requiring a support case to resolve. 48V battery SoC is now correct for all cars, invalid odometer display for some cars is fixed, VGM PIN required messages for Service Procedures that don't need a VGM PIN are resolved. Suspension mode display for cars with electronic shocks but without air springs is fixed.

Various bug fixes and reliability improvments - If Volvo can put this in their release notes, so can I!

OrBit v1.1.3 release notes

OrBit version 1.1.3 is released. It is a patch release for some refinements to new model support and a fix for issues with some cars clearing DTCs.

Improvements and Fixes:

VGM handling improvement - Fixed some issues with diagnostics when the VGM PIN is not saved for the car with 2025 models.

Updated post programming process for 2025 models - The TRM module is restarted to re-learn the config from the car when the TRM is installed.

Improved DTC clearing process - Revised the DTC clearing process to work around issue with Sensus cars when the VCM is stuck in a state it doesn't send the broadcast messages to all modules in the car. Overall process is improved for all cars to ensure code clear commands are recieved by all modules.

OrBit v1.1.2 release notes

OrBit version 1.1.2 is released. The biggest news is 2025 model support is added. OrBit already worked with these models, but there were some changes that required some major updates to OrBit to support the changes under the covers in these cars.

New features:

2025 Models supported (as well as minor support update for 2024 models) - OrBit now supports new generation of security access implemented by Volvo. This allows fully supporting change of all config items on 2025 models. The processes and procedures to handle the changes when writing config on these models are automated in OrBit. The added complexity means for most customers, using OrBit with a 2025 model requires the purchase of the PIN Retrieval service when purchasing OrBit or adding a 2025 car to your license.

VGM PIN no longer required for service functions and clearing DTCs - OrBit can now handle most service functions on AAOS (iCup) cars without requiring a VGM PIN for the car. The VGM PIN is still required for writing config and flashing software in the car.

ECU Info updated on flashing software - ECU Info is now updated when flashing a software to a specific ECU. There is no longer a need to Update Profile after flashing software to see the updated software parts reported.

Service Procedures module update - New version of Service Procedures module (Generation 5) is included, supporting new Service Procedures that were not possible before the update. Service Procedures are added outside of OrBit app updates, the catalog has been expanded greatly since the last release. Some new Service Procedures are only visible once OrBit is updated.

Updated Features:

Gen 2 Security Access support added - While this is part of 2025 model support, the Gen 2 security access has been present on some modules since 2023. OrBit now supports saving the new 32 byte PINs in the car profile and performing security access with any module using the Gen 2 Security Acess.

Reset Battery History on any car - Battery History reset can be run on any car, to support 12V battery replacement. This is part of the basic service features that are allowed on any car, it does not need to be licensed in OrBit.

Improvements and Fixes:

Car connection improvements - On most computers, OrBit no longer requires incoming firewall ports open. (Note: the installer still creates the rules, and some specific network configurations on a PC will still require incoming port exceptions that OrBit installer creates in Windows Defender Firewall)

Self Healing OrBit problems - Background processing has been added to resolve problems proactively in OrBit from missing license, corrupt config files, and other known occasional issues. Worst case should need a restart of OrBit to fix rather than contacting support for manual help.

More ECUs added for flashing software - Improvements have been made to programming process reliability, more ECUs have been tested and allowed to be flashed (PSMD, PSMP)

PSMP, PSMD modules adding supported - OrBit now supports properly enabling the PSMD and PSMP (Power Seat Module, Driver/Passenger) in the car when swapping power seats into a car and setting config, with a car that had no seat modules equipped from the factory.

Air Suspension Calibration improvements - Refinements made to the Air Suspension Calibration process, to reduce the cases where OrBit fails to prepare the car because the Air Suspension is in "Service Mode". The process to exit Service Mode has been revised.

Many various config and programming process improvements - Many small changes made to support all covered models with a smooth programming process leaving a minimum of cases with left over DTCs or dash messages in the car after flashing a config. In the event of a flashing failure, recover and error feedback is improved.

OrBit v1.0.9 release notes

Woohoo!! OrBit is no longer a Beta ;-) Version 1.0 is released (v1.0.9.5 specifically). There are many updates, the gestation period was too long, but necessary perhaps for many of the major revisions that needed to be done at the same time. I hope you all find it useful!

New features:

Config Wizard replaces Config Presets - New Tab "Config Wizard" has a graphical configuration for popular items. The graphical config is focused on safe and known config settings managed by OrBit for the specific car. The Config Wizard is linked with the Configurator tab, all changes to the car config from the Wizard can be seen in the Configurator table. All features of the old Config Presets are covered by the Config Wizard. Additional settings will be added in the future to expand the utility of the Config Wizard.

Service Procedures - New "Service Procedures" module is added. The goal is to offer service procedures through a real time published catalog, rather than released only on application updates. Service procedures are accessed through a dropdown on the Service tab under "Additional Service Procedures". All service procedures are shown here and can be filtered by search. The same service procedures are shown from the ECU Tools tab, filtered to individual module selected in the Active Diag ECU dropdown, as a handy way to see only Service Procedures that apply to the module. Service Procedures are filtered by what is applicable to each car by modules present, chassis, model, etc. There are many SPs available on release, and feel free to send me feedback on what else you would like to see added sooner rather than later (I will work to get them all into OrBit eventually).

ECU Info reports - ECU Info can be viewed from the ECU Tools tab for each ECU found in the car. This provides a quick way to view and save all useful info from an ECU: Module part numbers, installed software and specific additional info for some modules. The stored ECU Info is updated when "Update Profile" is run from the main Shortcuts tab.

New DTC reading and reporting - OrBit now reads all DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) from the car, all status of codes (except "test not completed") are reported, with time stamps. Code resolution is massively improved. The code report defaults to confirmed codes, and the view can be changed with, with full time stamps and status displayed.

New Status: Odometer and Air Suspension - Added status shown on the main tab when connected to the car, show vehicle odometer in mi or km according to the car units setting (click on the display to switch between mi and km). Air Suspension status is also shown for cars equipped. When Service mode is shown, click on the disaply to bring up a dialog to cancel Service and take the suspension back to Normal mode.

Add VINs to OrBit license - Additional cars (VINs) can be added to your OrBit license immediately, via the Add VIN button on the Expert Toolbox tab. Credits must be purchased ahead of time (contact orders-at-spaycetechcom to add license credits). This is useful for shops that need to work on customer cars right away without waiting for a VIN to be added through the current email order process.

Updated Features:

Update Profile: existing ECUs option - When running profile update, OrBit will now ask if you like to "find new ECUs" in the process. This was the previous default, now you can answer NO to this prompt, to update existing ECU info only. This option is useful when you want to quickly update ECU info without the need to search for newly installed or missing ECUs, it dramatically reduces the time to complete the profile update.

Parking Camera Calibration: Monitor while driving - OrBit now releases the usage mode control on starting Parking Camera Monitor, so the car can be started and driven while monitoring the parking camera calibration status.

ECU Flash - Flashing software files to ECUs is improved, IHU and DIM are now added to flashing over previous version. PBL flash is now possible, supported for modules that load software running on the Primary Boot Loader rather than loading a Secondary Boot Loader(SBL). ECU Backup also supports PBL mode as well. Numerous improvements for reliability have been made.

Improvements and Fixes:

Splash Screen startup - OrBit now displays a splash screen on start-up, with task status for cache loading, update check, config files update etc. before the application main window is shown.

Speed and reliability - Many improvements have been made to the efficiency of OrBit loading data and reading from the car, as well as unnecessary waiting time has been removed. Overall speed of navigating, running processes, flashing config etc. is improved.

Car Connection - OrBit now supports "Entity Request" active method to find and connect to the car, to improve the reliability of connection.

Flashing/Programming reliability - The flashing process has been heavily revised to improve reliability, recover from local connection issues, minimize residual codes and messages in the car, and provide more useful error messages to the user. Only critical issues will stop successful programming. Usage mode check is now done before programming starts, prompting the user to take the car out of Driving mode.

Preserve OTA updates - When "Restore to OEM" is run on the AAOS(iCup) car, the user is prompted to decide whether to preserve OTA Updates. Preserving the OTA update allows Restore to OEM after a system OTA update is queued, without cancelling the update, so it can be installed immediately after Restoring to the OEM config. Default behavior previously always cancelled the queued OTA update on Write Config or Restore to OEM with OrBit.

SRS airbag status faults - An issue was found, that DTCs can be seen after programming, for "passenger airbag status" indicator, on the SRS and CEM modules, and an SRS fault error can be seen on the dash display. These codes could not be cleared through the normal code clearing process. OrBit DTC clear process has been adjusted to successfully clear these fault codes.

Air Suspension Calibration feedback - When the air suspension cannot be calibrated due to the disabled status of leveling control, OrBit now returns the specific reason leveling is disabled from the SUM (e.g. "Door is open"). OrBit also takes the air suspension out of Service mode when preparing for calibration.

Key Programming workflow improved - OrBit now informs the user when the Security PIN is incorrect and allows the PIN to be cleared, so the user can re-enter or perform extract from the car. This will reduce the confusion that some users have when they save the CEM PIN as the Security PIN, and also allow the problem to be easily fixed with guidance in OrBit.

PIN Finder update - updated for new VIDA log formats and compatible with some USB captures from wireshark.

Send Cmd update - Sending raw commands to ECUs can now be done in programming mode, and after loading an SBL

Many more improvements!! - OrBit 1.0 is a comprehensive update from the beta version, many components re-written with the benefit of feedback from now thousands of users over time. I can't possibly cover it all, there is so much, but the above is the bigger stuff. Thank you everyone who has been here since the OrBit Beta era ;-) We've come a long way!

Prevent flashing "old" 3.x AAOS versions - OrBit will no longer allow the user to click through the warning before config flash, when system detected is old version 3.x AAOS. The infotainment in the car is unstable release and should be updated OTA or via VIDA to current release available for any affected car from Volvo/Polestar, before any programming is attempted.

Update license component for updated format - Added forwards compatibility with updated license format to match upcoming OrBit 1.0 release.

Fix flash fail when CSD module (infotainment screen) is not responding. - On some cars, connection is lost when the CSD module is not responding during the flash programming process. The lost connection then causes the flash process to fail with a "Programming process failure" error. Timing has been adjusted so the connection to the car does not time out while waiting for the CSD to respond.
